Vertiv have 1, 2, 3 and 5 Year warranties depending on the product line.  Some items also have a warranty increase if registered, please see the hyperlink towards the bottom of this page.

 

Single Phase UPS products that have two (2) year advance replacement warranty are:

- PSA Series UPS

- MT PLUS Series UPS

- RT PLUS Series UPS

- GXE Series UPS (1kVA - 10kVA)

UPS products that have three (3) year advanced replacement warranty are:

- EDGE Series UPS including IMT, IRM and IRT models.

- GXT5 / GXT4 / GXT3 Series UPS & Accessories

- ITA2 Series 5kVA - 40kVA

- LIEBERT MicroPOD

 

- PSI XR Series UPS & Accessories  *Obsolete*

 

UPS products that have one (1) years warranty are:

- MTP Series all Models

 

UPS products that have two (2) years warranty are:

- APS Series all Models

- EXS Series 10 - 20kVA Models

- EXS Series 30 - 40kVA Models

UPS products that have five (5) years warranty are:

- Edge Lithium-Ion UPS (1500VA - 3000VA)

- GXT5 Lithium-Ion UPS (1kVA - 10kVA)

- MPL Lithium Battery Cabinets (6Ah and 12Ah)

 

Should you wish to make a warranty claim, please complete the document 'UPS Warranty Template' attached to the right of this page and send to [email protected]. Please ensure the email subject heading only states: WARRANTY CLAIMS  and cc: [email protected] so we can provide any supporting documentation should Vertiv request it.

Extended warranty options are available for 1 and 3 years (in addition to the initial 24 or 36 month term).  Please note that Vertiv will only allow extended warranties to be purchased at the same time as the unit purchase, or during the first 12 months from date of the original invoice from the Vertiv Distributor. 

On the Three Phase Power and Precision Cooling products the standard warranty term is one (1) year. Again the Warranty Statement is attached to the right.

This includes:

- all other Liebert & Chloride Three Phase UPS Models, Static Switches and accessories

- Liebert Thermal Management Products and accessories

- Netsure DCProducts and accessories

Warranty Extensions are available for all Vertiv Products, Preventative Maintenance contracts are available for all UPS and Precision Cooling hardware.

 

Geist products come standard with a 3 year warranty, this is increased to 5 years when the unit is registered with Vertiv.

The Avocent range of products include a 90 day warranty, however if the unit is registered with on their website within 90 days of purchase, this term is increased to 2 years.
